Dear Friends,

         As many of you already know, four years ago our son, Matthew, was diagnosed with APS Type 1 (Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome).  This is a rare disease that attacks and shuts down endocrine glands.  It affects one in two million people.  This year we’ve faced many new challenges, some ongoing, however we are grateful we’ve had no hospitalizations.  His spirits remain high and he acts like a typical 10 year old.

          We are hoping for your support this year to raise money so we can continue to fund research for a cure.  Please review the 2010 donation letter to see how you can help.

         We look forward to a wonderful future for Matthew and because of people like you, he and all of those who live with APS Type 1 have the hope that one day there will be a cure for this disease.
